THE CULT: New York City Show To Be Filmed

THE CULT's November 13 date at Irving Plaza in New York City will be filmed in High Definition by Live Nation Studios and is expected to be made available through a variety of portals, including mobile telephone and potentially broadband and traditional cable, satellite and broadcast television.

"THE CULT has been an important partner to us as we documented their last U.S. tour with live recordings which were a huge hit with their fans," said Live Nation Studios' Stephen Prendergast. "Live Nation Studios are excited to capture their spectacular live set for a worldwide audience in High Definition."

THE CULT will embark on a three-week U.S. tour, launching October 27 in Dallas and wrapping November 13 in New York City. The band — featuring founding members Ian Astbury on vocals and Billy Duffy on guitar, along with drummer John Tempesta and bassist Chris Wyse — will also bring their Return To Wild tour to Mexico, Chile, Argentina and Brazil after the U.S. performances.
